Extension of the present wetland area to 68,4 ha. more, by means of the new flooding of "La Güera" and "El Hoyo", two grasslands very closed of La Nava, belonging to the municipality of Mazariegos. This performance will imply an increase of the habitat available for the aquatic warbler and other species of water fowls of the Appendix 1 of the "Birds Directive".

Purchase of 40ha. of lands adjacent to the wetland, for their transformation into a habitat available for the objective species, through the planting of autochthonous bushy species. Moreover, with the disappearance of farming in these lands, a buffer zone will be created, which will improve the conditions of La Nava.

Improvement of the flooding systems of the wetland, to avoid to the maximum the entrance of polluted waters in the wetland through the waterways. That will also contribute to reduce the waters eutrophy of La Nava thanks to the decrease of extern contribution of nutrients.
